Clear film that works with off the shelf ink from your inkjet printer. FastPOS™ is a specially coated 4 mil clear film designed to work with the Epson 3000, 1520, and other similar inkjet printers. Optimal results are achieved when using FastRIP™.
 
With FastPOS™ you will get near imagesetter quality with excellent registration and no need to adjust exposure times or deal with shrinkage associated with vellum paper. Best of all, FastPOS™ works with standard black ink to create a very dense positive and it is designed to control ink absorption allowing for fast drying and excellent dot shape retention. FastPOS™ has an anti-static coating and a special backing which eliminates curl. It also has a smoother coating than other similar films, which gives you a cleaner print.
 
 
For very black image areas and clean halftone dots use FastRIP™, a Postscript Interpreter RIP, with FastPositive.

 FastPOSITIVE will give excellent detail and very dark images when used with a Postscript RIP like FastRIP™. If you use the standard Epson driver for spot color output you may find the density is less and that you have more streaking and pinholes. For the best results results possible from the standard Epson driver (for jobs that do not require halftones) use the Backlight Film setting at 1440dpi with Micro Weave ON and super checked.
