The process is much the same
as screen printing. The shirts are first sprayed with a clear,
odorless, non toxic pre-treatment using a pump-action spray.
It is quick and you can pre-treat a batch of shirts (or small
inventory) in advance. The shirt is then loaded and printed.
The White Kit bulk ink system
supplies white ink in 3 of the 7 print heads. The other 4 print
heads hold the CMYK colors - magenta, yellow, cyan, and black.
FastARTIST automatically creates a white underbase for your artwork,
while FastRIP controls the amount of ink. The white underbase
print comes first with no additional drying step, then reloads
for either a second underbase, or directly to CMYK and highlight
white inks. The resulting prints are beautiful.
