Are your screens breaking down prematurely
in production. One cause may be that the emulsion that you coated
on the screen wasn't dry enough before you exposed it, and or
wasn't completely dry after you exposed and 'dryed' it. One of
the best solutions is to go down to Sears or a good appliance
store and pick up a dehumidifier for your screen drying area.
The best example someone gave me was a tropical rain forest.
It could be 100 degrees there but because there was 100% humidity
nothing would ever dry. The same situation exists in your screen
drying area. You could have a heater and a fan going but unless
you remove all that moisture from the screen the emulsion you
shoot will be less than full strength. Try the dehumidifier.
You may be surprised how much better your exposed screens last.
