Which DTF Transfer Path Is Right For You?

This is a rare opportunity to listen and learn how Direct-To-Film (DTF) transfers can impact your business. We hope this will help eliminate some of the confusion around which DTF transfer path to take.

We've invited 2 industry leaders and business owners from the apparel decoration market to share portions of their DTF transfer printing stories. We are thrilled that they both agreed to share a little about what they learned so far about DTG printing and DTF transfers.

Our two special guests are:

MEGAN URBAN
Owner of IDNTITEEZ in Kansas

MARCOS GUARENO
Owner of MAXIMUM GRAPHICS in New Jersey

Marcos: What are some of the things you like best about the DTF transfer process?

“One thing we really like is that we can print transfers ahead of time. We can have designs printed and cured ready to transfer when an order is placed. That helps us ship orders the same day they come in. Being flexible with full color graphics and small runs is a game changer.”

Megan: When did you realize that DTF transfers were going to be a good fit for your business?

“We started out doing a lot of online stores. So DTF transfers gave us the opportunity to offer a lot more choices in graphic designs. We would usually set up a spirit store and have only 1-2 designs. Now, we often offer 7-8 designs and in full color. Giving our customers more choices has increased our total order value! They're not going to buy just one when they see more options that they like.”

Marcos: Were you surprised how well the DTF transfers held up during your wash testing?

“I was! We did a lot of testing. In the beginning we had to adjust a few temperature settings but the washability and the soft hand were great. And it's improved from when we first started to now. It took us by surprise. We have items tested over 40 washes and they’ve not only held up - they still look great!”
